The Maryland and Delaware Railroad Company is an active participant in tourist operations across the Delmarva Peninsula. The company annually participates in runs for the Hurlock Heritage Days, and frequently makes trips during the annual Delmarva Chicken Festival when it is held in towns served by MDDE. Currently, over 1,000 passengers a year ride our Hurlock Fall Festival trains.
